Rita, Nice PowerPoint. You stated it perfectly when you said nursing informatics will do what nurses do-now we will use technology to improve the care for our patients. I am encouraged at the prospects of health information that will take into account patient specific information to develop risk factors, treatment plans, etc. The opportunities are endless but we first need the interoperability to make it useful everywhere.
